The beginning
Overgrowth on R2T
Trash along the R2T
Over the years all types of garbage found it's way to the trail.
Yes even an old dishwasher was hauled out
The debris pulled from this trail was staggering. Engine blocks, dishwashers, tires, and old hot water heaters. Everything that could be recycled was recycled.

The tracks that we have come to love so much were covered by years of dirt and mud.
More overgrowth and fallen trees
So many dead trees, limbs, and overgrowth was cleared away.
Stream overgrowth
Full wheelbarrow loads of dry sticks and debris was pulled out of the stream.
So many old tires!
Many old tires were dug, pried, and rolled out of R2T

Can you see the trail on the left? Lots of clearing took place.

So many old limbs and trash were in the stream it was slowing the flow of water.
Trail begins to take shape
In this early picture you can begin to see the cleared trail.
You can start to see a definite trail
Forms were put in place, by hand, to hold gravel that was placed on the trail.

The trail is beautiful in the winter. With the water frozen as it trickles out of the rocks.
