Mount Airy Rails to Trails
The mission of Mount Airy Rails to Trails is to provide foot traffic for local businesses, scenic beauty for nature lovers, and a walk through the past for historians and rails fans.
Mount Airy Rails to Trails was started by a small group of volunteers and a few shovels. It has grown to a following of over 2000 R2T fans and has even been instrumental in the restoration of MAC the caboose/visitors center.
